Cooking Instructions: For food safety, follow these cooking instructions. Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Cooking appliances vary in power; adjust cooking times as necessary. These instructions are guidelines only. Thawing before cooking recommended is not this product. Stove Top: 1. Bring 1/4 cup of water to a boil in a 2-quart saucepan. 2. Add contents of bag and return to boil. 3. Reduce heat to medium and boil gently for 4 - 5 minutes or until tender, stir once during cooking time. Drain and serve. **Microwave: 1. Do not pierce of open the Steamable French Sliced Green Beans bag. 2. Place this side up in the microwave. 3. Microwave on high. For lower wattage ovens (1100W or less), cook on high for 6 minutes or until the product reaches 165 degrees F. For higher wattage ovens (greater than 1100W), cook on high for 4 minutes. During cooking, the bag will slowly inflate as the steam forms. A whistling sound may be heard as the steam escapes through the vent in the bag. 4. After cooking, remove the bag from the microwave and let stand for 1 minute. Carefully open the bag and pour vegetables from the bag. Note: Microwave cooking times may vary depending on the particular appliance used. Caution: Product will be hot.
