Directions
Directions: You will need: 1/3 cup milk; 1/3 cup milk; 1 egg. Before you begin: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F for muffins. Prepare baking pan by lightly greasing or spraying with non-stick cooking spray. 1. Place milk, water and egg in medium bowl and mix. 2. Blend corn bread mix in bowl using fork until moistened. Do not overmix. 3. Pour batter into pan or scoop into paper lined muffin cups. 4. Bake as directed in chart below or until light golden brown. Yield: 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan; 400 degrees F temperature; 23-26 minutes bake time. Yield: 6 jumbo muffins; 425 degrees F temperature; 18-20 minutes bake time. Yield: 12 regular muffins; 425 degrees F temperature; 17-19 minutes bake time. High altitude (over 5000 feet): add 2-4 tablespoons flour. Carefully follow the mixing and baking instructions to recreate the same Famous Dave's corn bread you enjoy in our restaurants. All of our restaurant ovens are the same, home ovens vary.
