Baked Falafel (Makes about 10 falafel balls): Mix 1 cup of Falafel Mix with 3/4 cup of water. Let stand for 30min to 60min. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. On a baking sheet, form mixture into 2 inches round balls using a falafel scooper or by hand. Spray the falafel balls lightly with olive oil. Bake for 25-30min, rotating the pan at the halfway mark. Traditional Fried Falafel (Makes about 10 falafel balls): Mix 1 cup Falafel Mix with 3/4 cup of water. Let stand for 30min to 60min. Heat 4 inches of oil on medium to high heat (about 275 degrees -300 degrees F). Form mixure into 2 inches round balls using a falafel scooper or by hand. Fry in oil 1-2min or until golden brown. Servings: Falafel Mix: 1 cup (4-5 (about 10 balls), 1 box (8-9 about 18 balls). Servings: Water: 3/4 cup (4-5 (about 10 balls), 1-1/3 (8-9 about 18 balls). Falafel Stuffed Pita (Serves 4): Slice the pita bread in half and open each half to form a pocket. Line each pocketwith 3-4 falafel balls and 2 leaves of lettuce.
