Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Let's Cook This: Skillet Method: Pull steak from fridge and let sit for 10 min. Pat dry. Salt and add a little high-heat oil to both sides. Place in cast-iron or non-stick pan preheated to medium high. For perfect results, use our handy temperature chart at eatpre.com/cooking. Test steak on both ends with a food thermometer using the coolest temperature to indicate doneness. Let rest for 7 minutes. Devour. Reverse Sear Method: Preheat oven to 275 degrees F. Bring pre steaks to room temperature, then lightly oil and salt both sides. Place steaks on sheet tray with wire rack, then place in oven for 20 minutes, flipping steaks once halfway. Preheat nonstick or cast-iron pan on stove top over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3 minutes. Sear steaks for 3 minutes per side, then remove from heat. Let rest for 5 minutes. Defrosting? Set in refrigerator overnight or tear off pouch and submerge in cool water; replace water every 30 minutes until thawed. Keep refrigerated.
