Recommended Heating Instructions: For best results, thaw in refrigerator overnight or until completely thawed. Heat and serve. Do not boil! Stove Top: Pour thawed contents into large saucepan. Heat 5 minutes over medium heat or until temperature reaches 165 degrees F, stirring occasionally. Do not boil! Microwave Oven: Pour contents into a microwaveable container. Frozen: Thaw on defrost cycle for 10 minutes or according to manufacturer's directions, then follow instruction below. Thawed: Microwave on high 3 to 4 minutes, stirring once after 2 minutes. Microwave 1 to 2 minutes longer or until temperature reaches 165 degrees F. Reduce time for smaller portions. Heat and serve as is or on top of warm sandwich rolls. Add your own personal touch by topping with: Melted Mozzarella Cheese - a classic topping. Giardiniera - for a spicy traditional flavor. Sweet Peppers - for the perfect old-world taste. Keep frozen.
