Created by winemaker Derek Rohlffs, Bravium is the culmination of meticulous care in the vineyards and a patient approach in the cellar. Derek takes his cues from tradition. He doesn’t alter what the earth gives him. He’s a classic minimalist. Compelling, terroir–driven wines that pair naturally with food and have rare aging potential relative to their Pinot Noir peers. Native yeast naturally initiate a slow, cool fermentation and diligent attention to detail with generous amount of restraint guide the wine to its full potential. Bravium is a Latin word meaning prize, gift or reward.
  • This vineyard is renowned for its bucolic setting and elegant, finessed wines from 40 year old vines. This powerful wine is characterized by fresh red apple, strawberry, and raspberry fruit, with woodsmoke, damp soil, and pennyroyal tea notes. A soft, juicy entry delivers intense cherry flavors, with a touch of mocha and spice.
  • Velvet-textured, with medium acidity and fine-grained tannins, the earthy finish serves up saline minerality that speaks to this wine's coastal vineyard origins.
  • The 2019 vintage received 92 points from Wine Enthusiast and 91 points from the Wine Spectator
  • This pinot noir red wine pairs with grilled salmon with mushroom sauce, mushroom risotto, herb chicken, roast duck or beef bourguignon
  • Wiley Vineyard was planted in 1972 in the famed “Deep End”, the westernmost portion of Anderson Valley. Wiley is a true cool-climate site, resting on benchlands just nine miles from the Pacific Ocean.
