Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: 1. Combine 1 cup rice and 2 cups water in a saucepan. 2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. 3. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork. Microwave: 1. Combine 1 cup rice and 2 cups water in a covered microwave-safe dish. 2. Microwave at 100% (high) power for 5 minutes. Reduce power to 50% (medium) for an additional 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. 3. Remove from microwave and let stand covered for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking. Cooking Tips: For firmer rice, use less water and simmer a shorter time. For softer rice, use more water and simmer a longer time. Steam cooks rice. Do not lift lid while cooking. Add salt and oil or margarine if desired. This product must be cooked prior to consumption. Press in. Pull up.
